CIRCLE Infant & Toddler Foundations Training: This comprehensive 5 module training helps to increase knowledge and understanding of research-based, effective practices for teachers of infant and toddlers. The training can be provided over two full days (13 hours), or by individual module. As well, the training is designed for both face-to-face or virtual delivery to meet the specific needs of your center. Modules include:
CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Teacher Training: Play with Me! Series: This engaging series dives into content from the eCIRCLE Infant & Toddler Teacher Training: Play with Me! courses. Sessions in this training series provide specific instructional strategies targeting infant and toddler development.
Play and Learning Strategies (PALS): PALS a preventive intervention program to strengthen the bond between parent and child and to stimulate early language, cognitive, and social development.
CIRCLE Activity Collection: This wide-ranging activity collection is housed on the CLI Engage platform. Teachers can access the collection series to help them plan and improve instruction for prekindergarten and kindergarten students.
CIRCLE Activity Collection: Family: The CIRCLE Activity Collection: Family translates child development research into practice by providing a variety of hands-on activities that families can do at home. This collection is organized around seven learning domains: Language & Communication, Reading & Writing, Math, Science, Social & Emotional, Physical Development, and Art & Sensory.
CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Curriculum
The CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Curriculum is built on the foundation of responsive interactions and caring relationships. The curriculum supports teachers to fully address the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children ages 0-36 months. Teachers will have all they need to plan engaging play activities that extend and support children’s learning in individualized ways, while also guiding teachers to ensure the unplanned experiences and daily routines of the day are rich with opportunities for skill development. This research-based curriculum considers all aspects of the infant and toddler day.
Infant and Toddler Early Learning Guidelines
The ITELG are intended to positively influence the design of professional development strategies, parent engagement, administrative planning, key class materials, and curricula. Above all else, the ITELG are a learning tool for caregivers. When equipped with the ITELG, caregivers can support a child’s growth, development, and learning for success in school and life.
