This half-day session provides teachers with an understanding of the critical role they play in young children’s writing development. Teachers will gain knowledge on the developmental stages of emergent writers and the components of a supportive writing environment. Participants will also learn how purposeful, direct instruction, and authentic writing opportunities are an essential part of the classroom environment.
