A series of four half-day trainings familiarize caregivers with the content of the early learning guidelines created by the Texas Early Learning Council. The guidelines include developmental information for children from birth to 48 months in four key domains, and include caregiver strategies to support optimal development. Each face-to-face training session details the developmental stages of child growth and guides participants through the guidelines’ instructional strategies. Hands-on opportunities expand understanding of the material, and additional shared resources support implementation of the early learning strategies. All participants receive a printed copy of the Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines as a helpful reference tool. Additional copies are available for purchase. Participants will also receive a certificate for three clock hours for each completed session. Trainings in this series are available alone or in combination and include:
