In this 5-hour training, pre-k and kindergarten teachers will learn the many aspects of social and emotional development through model lessons and hands-on practice. The training addresses the importance of an intentional focus on social and emotional learning by providing targeted lessons, activities, and experiences all year long. Teachers will explore and practice activities designed to support students’ growth in this critical domain, and will learn about CLI’s digital collection of sequenced social emotional lessons that can be used to supplement any curriculum. Attendees will each receive the print version of the full-year curriculum.
