In this full-day face-to-face session, participants will learn how to administer the Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment (TX-KEA) and will have the opportunities to explore other resources on CLI Engage. This hands-on training includes many opportunities to practice administering the assessment. TX-KEA is a user-friendly, online school readiness screener that is administered to students upon kindergarten entry to inform teachers about the children in their classes, helping them to design more appropriate learning opportunities. It also serves as a progress monitoring tool for beginning-; middle-; and end-of-year. Developed in English and Spanish, this time-efficient tool will allow assessment of all areas within 45 minutes.
*Participants will need computer and internet access.
